The year is 2150. Europe stands unified under the iron rule of the mega-corporation WasserStrom & Murphy Corp, a regime that dictates every aspect of everyday life — for the free, and for the not-so-free as well.
Electronic devices are standardized, centrally produced in WSMcorp factories, and distributed strictly by prescription. Advanced knowledge is priceless and dangerous; possessing it without proper registration in the official trade registries can cost far more than a career. The internet as we know it is gone. In its place exists a heavily restricted, fully monitored central network, controlled end-to-end by WSM’s IT division.
The main protagonist, Cornelius RocheFord II, works as a detective in the Brno Restrictive Forces Department — a law-enforcement branch operating under the direct influence of WasserStrom & Murphy Corp.
While assigned to a case that keeps collapsing in front of him, Cornelius repeatedly encounters obstructed procedures, vanished evidence, and testimonies that don’t match what he remembers collecting. Someone is actively sabotaging the investigation — someone with enough power to reshape reality on paper.
Will Cornelius manage to untangle the corporate intrigue tightening around him? Or is the truth hiding somewhere far more unsettling?
